I joined StartAppz Limited in February 2022 as a software engineer and became lead engineer in January 2026. I own the architecture across our Flutter and Laravel products, review the team’s code and run the deployments.
Most of my work is for insurers and fintechs in Kenya: quoting and policy systems, M-PESA and card payments, and the apps customers use to buy cover. This year I started using Go for work that needs more throughput, such as identity checks for onboarding.
